Sunday, 30 July – 16 Finalist Rock Bands from all parts of the United Kingdom played their hearts out at the UK Emergenza Band Finals. FASY in particular drew the crowds to the moshpit chanting and screaming in utter amazement of the mesmerizing guitar riffs and licks of Faseeh while Ibbe and Addo provided unprecedented drums and bass in concert, with a perfect closure to a mind-bending hard rock treat in front of a thousand-strong audience.

The jury of industry scouts and critics were left gripping the judges booth balcony, they had no choice but to invest the prestigious best guitarist award to Ahmed Faseeh (FASY). Members of competing bands endorsed the nomination with loud cheers, the award thus making him the best unsigned guitarist in the whole of UK 2006.

The Band FASY was nominated in the TOP five bands in the UK Emergenza Band Competition 2006 with over 300 bands competing through the preliminary and semi-final rounds.

They played an exquisite mix of a hard rock repertoire including ‘Your Betrayal’, ‘Blue Tears’, ‘Rising’ and their all new hit ‘Rock and Roll is a Blessing’ to a charged and ecstatic audience at the Mean Fiddler in central London. Members of the eminent jury, consisting of experienced recording industry professionals, were well impressed, with reviews of promising opportunities and expressing the desire to work with the band in the future.
