FASY Rocks London Mean Fiddler at the UK Emergenza Band Finals!

Sunday, 30 July – 16 Finalist Rock Bands from all parts of the United Kingdom played their hearts out at the UK Emergenza Band Finals. FASY in particular drew the crowds to the moshpit chanting and screaming in utter amazement of the mesmerizing guitar riffs and licks of Faseeh while Ibbe and Addo provided unprecedented drums and bass in concert, with a perfect closure to a mind-bending hard rock treat in front of a thousand-strong audience.

FASY to play Emergenza London Finals

The band is now getting ready to perform at the London and UK finals of the Emergenza Festival. They are now one step closer to the world finals, the Taubertal festival in Germany.

Performing at the Mean Fiddler, FASY will be competing with other London bands to be included in the top 5 voted by the audience. Judges pick 4 bands from London and the winners from other regions of the UK, these are then pooled and the band that goes to Germany is determined from these bands.

Ayya takes a break

In June ’06 bassist Ayya left the band to continue his studies and complete his degree. The rest of the band is sad to see him step out as he played an important role in helping the band get into the Emergenza finals. The band is very grateful for his support and is looking forward to playing with him again in the future. In the meantime, well-known musician Abdullah Arafat (Addo) will take over the bassist’s position in the band.

Rock Storm, Chapter 1: Rock Your Senses
